It is with regret that Treatt plc, the manufacturer and supplier of flavour and
fragrance ingredients, announces the retirement of William Geoffrey Bovill from
the Board of Directors on the 30th September 2005.


Having served 57 years as a Non-Executive Director and as Chairman of the Board
between 1981 and 2001, his contribution will be greatly missed.
