Tribal Group plc ('the Company')


On 11 August 2005, Abacus Corporate Trustee Limited, the trustees of Tribal
Group's Employee Share Ownership Trust ('the Trust') purchased 100,000 ordinary
5p shares at 196.75p per share, on behalf of the Trust.

The total number of shares held by the Trust is 100,000 shares representing
0.13% of the Company's issued share capital.

The shares were purchased by the Trust to satisfy in due course and, if
appropriate, grant awards under the Company's previously announced Share Option
Plans and Save As You Earn (SAYE) Plan. As the Trust's shares may ultimately
vest in executive directors and senior executives, all directors and Persons
Discharging Managerial Responsibilities (PDMR) in the Company are treated as
interested in transactions by the Trust.
