Tribal appointed for Ofsted Early Years contract

Tribal Group plc (Tribal), a leading provider of professional services to the public sector in the UK and internationally, is pleased to announce that it has been appointed by Ofsted to deliver Early Years inspection services in the South region. 

The new, five-year contract will have a value of approximately £64m and will see Tribal managing inspection services for 45% of early years providers, including nurseries and childminders, in England. The contract, which is scheduled to start on 1 September 2010, builds on Tribal's position as the largest provider of school and learning and skills inspection services in England.

Tribal already provides school and learning and skills inspection services to Ofsted for the South region under a six-year contract awarded in 2009, worth approximately £75m. 

Tribal will make a further announcement when the contract has been finalised and signed.
