SENIOR independent DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT AND BOARD COMMITTEE CHANGES

 

The Board of the Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Alastair Hughes as Senior Independent Director with immediate effect. Mr Hughes has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since February 2019 and is a member of the Nomination and Management Engagement Committees.

 

As previously announced, Aubrey Adams has been appointed as Chairman of the Company following Sir Richard Jewson's retirement at the conclusion of today's Annual General Meeting.

 

As a result, Mr Adams has also been appointed as Chair of the Nomination Committee and will step down as a member of the Audit & Risk Committee with immediate effect.
