BOARD APPOINTMENT

TT electronics plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Baunton CBE as an independent non-executive director.

Michael brings to TT electronics extensive experience in engineering and production worldwide, having worked within manufacturing for over 40 years.  He has held senior executive roles with companies including Caterpillar Inc, Perkins Engines Company Limited and Tenneco Inc.   He is currently Chairman of the Board of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders Limited's Industry Forum and advisor to the Board of Stirling Energy Systems Inc.  Michael was awarded a CBE in 2004 for services to the automotive and engineering industries in the UK.  He will serve on the TT electronics plc Audit and Nominations Committees.

Commenting on the appointment, Sean Watson, Chairman, said,

TT electronics plc confirms that there is no other information to be disclosed under the requirements of Listing Rule 9.6.13R in relation to this appointment.
