UIL Limited (the "Company") announces that on 23 September 2016 the Company purchased in the market 160,201 UIL Finance Limited 2016 ZDP Shares at a price of 192.125p per 2016 ZDP Share. 

This holding of 160,201 UIL Finance Limited 2016 ZDP Shares will be held as an investment until the redemption date of 31 October 2016.
