New Ricoh camera equipped with Sarantel antenna
Sarantel Group PLC, (AIM: SLG, "Sarantel"), a leading manufacturer of high-performance, miniature antennas for mobile and wireless devices, announces that it has received production orders for it SL1300 LBS Pro GPS antenna which has been integrated with Ricoh's new digital camera, the G700SE.
The ruggedized, water- and dust-proof camera comes with Global Positioning System (GPS), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® communications. The addition of the more robust Sarantel antenna helps to improve positional accuracy from six to three metres, enabling more accurate geotagging of photos for integration with mapping applications such as Google Maps, Google Earth and ESRI's ArcGIS solutions.
