Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange plc for 154,943 ordinary shares of 25p each ('shares') to be
admitted to the Official List.


It is expected admission will be granted on 21 May 2004 and trading will
commence on 24 May 2004.


These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of share options under
The UNITE Group plc Savings Related Share Option Scheme (747) and The UNITE
Group plc Unapproved Share Option Scheme (154,196).


These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares.
