Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange plc for 1,741 ordinary shares of 25p each ('shares') to be
admitted to the Official List.



It is expected admission will be granted on 1 May 2007 and trading will commence
on 2 May 2007.



These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of share options under
The UNITE Group plc Approved Share Option Scheme (333 shares) and The UNITE
Group plc Savings Related Share Option Scheme (1,408 shares).



These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares.
