The Unite Group plc ('the Company')

Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London Stock Exchange plc for 2,041,059 ordinary shares of 25p each ('shares') to be admitted to the Official List.  

It is expected admission will be granted on 16 April 2009 and trading will commence on 17 April 2009.

These shares are being issued as a result of the awards made under The UNITE Group plc Long Term Incentive Plan.

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares.
