The UNITE Group plc to Announce Results on 23 March 2004

The Board of The UNITE Group plc, the UK's leading provider of student
accommodation services, today confirmed that that the preliminary announcement
of its results for the year ended 31 December 2003 will be made on Tuesday, 23
March, 2004.

An analysts' presentation, by invitation only, will be held at 0930hrs on 23
March 2004.  It will be held in the 23rd Floor Presentation Room, the London
Stock Exchange, Old Broad Street, London, EC2N 1HP.
