Transaction in Own Shares

Utilico Emerging Markets Limited ('the 'Company') announces that it has today purchased 250,000 ordinary shares at a price of 95.50p per share for cancellation.  

Following this purchase the Company's issued share capital consists of 213,867,040 ordinary shares with voting rights.

The above figure (213,867,040) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interests in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
