Transaction in Own Shares

Utilico Emerging Markets Limited (the "Company") announces that it purchased for cancellation 1,354,800 ordinary shares on Wednesday 1 September 2010, at a price of 150 pence per share. 

Following this purchase the Company's issued share capital consists of 219,172,234 ordinary shares.

The above figure (219,172,234) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interests in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
