Transaction in own shares

The Board of Utilico Emerging Markets Limited (the "Company") announces that on 29 November 2017 the Company purchased for cancellation 162,547 ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 218.44p per share and 100,000 subscription shares of 0.005p each at a price of 30.5p per share.

Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in issue in the Company is now 212,137,932 and the number of subscription shares in issue in the Company is now 33,458,557.

The above figure (212,137,932) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
