("VAALCO" or "Company") announces that on 29 December 2019, restricted stock over 61,729 common shares in the Company ("Common Shares") vested for Cary Bounds, a person discharging managerial responsibility in the Company. This vesting triggered immediate tax liabilities that were satisfied by the disposal of the number of Common Shares listed below:
