The following amendment has been made to the 'Grant of Options' announcement
released at 09:13 on 2 March 2007 under RNS Number 2002S:

The number of options that have been granted has been changed to 1,965,000.

                                Grant of Options


African Consolidated Resources plc ('the Company') announces that it has granted
1,965,000 options over new Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company exercisable
at 12p per share from 31 December 2007 to 31 December 2010. These options have
been granted to an employee trust for a broad range of staff and independent
consultants working for the Company.
