Result of General Meeting

African Consolidated Resources plc, the AIM listed resource and development company, is pleased to announce that all resolutions proposed at the General Meeting held earlier today, as set out in the Notice of General Meeting dated 11 December 2014, were duly approved by shareholders.

Accordingly, the Company is pleased to confirm that the change of its name to Vast Resources plc will become effective tomorrow, 31 December 2014, and trading in the Company's New Ordinary Shares, the Placing Shares and the Subscription Shares on AIM under this name is expected to commence at 8:00am on 6 January 2015. The Company's new London Stock Exchange TIDM will be "VAST" and its ISIN will remain as GB00B142P698. In addition, the Company is finalising a new corporate website address, with further details to be announced in due course.

On Admission of the New Ordinary Shares, the Placing Shares and the Subscription Shares, the total number of ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the Company will be 1,181,980,664, with each ordinary share carrying the right to one vote. From Admission, the above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in AFCR under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

Further updates regarding the Proposed Acquisition will be made as appropriate.
