BOARD APPOINTMENT
The Board of Victrex plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Giles Kerr BA
ACA as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 August 2006.
Mr Kerr, aged 46, is currently the Finance Director of Oxford University and a
Fellow of Keble College, Oxford. He was formerly with Amersham plc in a number
of senior management positions, most recently as Group Finance Director and was
previously a partner in Arthur Andersen.
Peter Warry, Chairman, said:
'I am very much looking forward to welcoming Giles to the Board. His breadth of
experience, especially as Group Finance Director for Amersham plc, will
contribute significantly to Board debate.'
No further information in relation to Mr Kerr is required to be disclosed
pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R.
As at 3 July 2006, Mr Kerr had no beneficial interest in the share capital of
the Company.
