Acquisition of Treasury Shares

VietNam Holding Limited announces that on 20 December 2012, it purchased

50,000 ordinary shares of par value $1 each ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of US$0.915 per share.

Following the above purchase, the Ordinary Shares will be held by the Company as Treasury Shares. Following the purchase, and the admission of the new ordinary shares issued in relation to the warrant exercise as announced on 18 December 2012, VNH will have 53,849,042 Ordinary Shares with voting rights in issue (excluding the Treasury Shares) and 766,000 Treasury Shares.
