Appointment to the VNHAM Board

VietNam Holding Limited (the 'Company') (AIM: VNH) announces the appointment of Mrs. Iris Fang to the Board of VietNam Holding Asset Management Limited ('VNHAM'), the investment manager of the Company, with effect from 1 October 2009.

Mrs. Fang brings 30 years of experience in the banking industry to the VNHAM Board, including assignments in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Singapore and Vietnam. With the resignation of Dr. Mai Nguyen from the VNHAM Board in August 2009, the Company welcomes the experience and breadth of knowledge Mrs. Fang brings to her new position.
