Notice of Annual General Meeting

VietNam Holding Limited (the 'Company') (AIM: VNH) today announces that it will hold its annual general meeting ('AGM') at 4 pm on 10 November 2009 at Glaernischhof Hotel in Zurich, Switzerland.

The Company is looking to the future by taking up the mantle of sustainable investment, and has begun to incorporate Environmental, Social, and Governance ('ESG') standards in its investment approach. In a changing global economy coming under increasing environmental pressures, sustainable and responsible investment principles are expected to become ever more critical to long-term growth.

While ESG issues have surfaced in large numbers, the investment community has not yet followed suit. The Company believes that now is the time to introduce a systematic Socially Responsible Investment ('SRI') style to Vietnam. Therefore, at the AGM on 10 November 2009 the Company will submit for approval to its shareholders a revised investment policy, which fully incorporates the ESG principles.
