Notice of investor conference call

VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund Ltd ('VOF'), an AIM-traded investment fund focused on Vietnam, announces that its Investment Manager will hold an investor conference call on 6 September 2010 at 19:00 Hong Kong time.

VinaCapital CEO Don Lam and fund managing directors Andy Ho, David Henry and Tony Hsun will update investors on the current economic and investment climate in Vietnam, and on the recent performance of the three VinaCapital-managed AIM-traded funds (VOF, VNL and VNI). A Q&A session will follow the fund updates.

Vietnam over the first half of 2010 has seen GDP growth of 6.2 percent, with corporate earnings growth strong at 12-15 percent on average, and a market valuation of around 10x PE 2010. This positive investment climate is tempered somewhat by inflation and foreign exchange concerns, and a tight credit environment that has resulted in a flat stock market.

"The sentiment on the ground in Vietnam is very positive, and Vietnam can reasonably expect GDP growth of over 6.5 percent for 2010," says Don Lam, VinaCapital CEO.

"Our fund managers are operating in an excellent environment for private equity deals, as more companies look for strategic investment as they prepare to list. In real estate, the residential housing market remains strong, and the hospitality and tourism market is recovering quickly,"
