Ongoing share buyback programme update

VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund Ltd ('VOF', the 'Company') announces that on 25 July 2013, pursuant to the share buyback authority granted to the Company's Board of Directors on 25 October 2011, Edmond de Rothschild Securities ('Rothschild') has been appointed to manage the ongoing buyback programme. Rothschild will seek to acquire shares of VOF in the market and attempt to place them with new and existing investors. In the event that Rothschild is unable to find investors to purchase, some or all of said shares; the Company will repurchase them as part of the ongoing buyback programme at the same consideration as they were acquired in the market.
