                   ANALYST/INVESTOR MEETING
                   MONDAY, 12 NOVEMBER 2001

                               
Bovis Homes Group PLC is today meeting analysts and investors and will be
advising them that reservations and margins are broadly in line with the
Company's expectations for the current year.

Cumulative reservations for the year to 9 November 2001 are running at over 5%
ahead of the comparative period in 2000, with strong increases in average
sales prices.

Site visitor levels from 11 September to 9 November 2001 are above the
comparable period in 2000, as are reservations.

Affordability remains healthy due to low interest rates and a very competitive
mortgage market.
