Countryside Partnerships acquires major site in Warrington with plans to deliver circa 1,200 homes
Countryside Partnerships ("Countryside"), part of Vistry Group PLC ("Vistry"), and Torus, the largest provider of affordable housing in the North West, have acquired the 170-acre Peel Hall site in Warrington and will move forward with plans to deliver circa 1,200 homes. The homes will be delivered by both Countryside and Vistry's Housebuilding business in a joint venture with Torus.
Countryside will deliver 595 affordable homes in partnership with Torus, as well as 595 homes available on the open market. The affordable homes will offer a mixture of shared ownership and affordable rent.
The completed development will include significant public realm open space, new sports pitches and the creation of a high-quality residential environment.

Work on site is scheduled to commence in mid-2025 once full planning permission is secured.
