On 17 September 2007, Majedie Asset Management Ltd acquired
166,609 Ordinary shares in Bovis Homes that resulted in a total interest of
6,073,960 Ordinary shares (Indirect number of voting rights),representing 5.03%
of the voting rights.

Majedie Asset Management Ltd is a discretionary Fund Manager. It invests funds
on behalf of its clients on a segregated basis as well as through its pooled
vehicle Majedie Aseet Management Investment Fund Company.
