Vodafone Group Plc ('the Company')

In accordance with Section 329 of the Companies Act 1985, I have to inform you
that the Company has been advised that the beneficial interest of Lord
MacLaurin of Knebworth, the Chairman of this Company, in the Ordinary Shares
of US$0.10 in the Company previously advised to the Company is understated by
5,070 shares as Lord MacLaurin has an interest in that number of shares in a
previously undisclosed managed nominee account. These 5,070 shares have been
held for Lord MacLaurin since 14 February 2000 and accordingly his total
interest in this Company's shares is 87,170 shares and not 82,100 as
previously reported.
