W H Ireland Gains Nominated Adviser Status
W H Ireland Limited, the AIM quoted stockbroker headquartered in Manchester, is
pleased to announce its appointment to the Register of Nominated Advisers of the
Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. W H Ireland is only
the second addition to the Register this year and one of a small band based
outside London.
The firm currently acts as broker to twenty companies either quoted on the
Official List of the UK Listing Authority or trading on AIM.
Laurie Beevers, Chief Executive, commented 'We are delighted to have been
approved as a Nominated Adviser, a step which will enable the firm to capitalise
on its network of corporate connections, both in the UK and overseas. In
particular, we are looking to maximise the potential of our relationships in
Australia through our joint venture based in Sydney.
'We have already secured our first appointment as Nominated Adviser to a UK
company looking to move to AIM and we are currently working with several
Australian companies who are considering joining AIM in the Autumn.'
