As  required by Listing Rule 9.6.14R, The  Weir Group PLC announces that Stephen
King, one of its non-executive directors and Chairman of its Audit Committee has
been, with effect from 24 October 2011, appointed to the Board of TT electronics
plc  as a non-executive director. Stephen will also be appointed as the Chairman
of the Audit Committee of TT electronics plc at the conclusion of that company's
2012 AGM.
