Announcement of transaction in ordinary shares by a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility
On Monday 27 June 2011 David Capstick, a person discharging managerial responsibility at JD Wetherspoon plc, exercised 6,500 options to subscribe to ordinary 2p shares. The exercise consisted of 6,500 options at 339p.
Mr Capstick immediately sold the shares at a price of 436.2p per share.
Following this transaction, Mr Capstick's interest remains 27,140 ordinary shares in the Company.
