Appointment of Finance Director
JD Wetherspoon plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Keith Down as
Finance Director. He replaces Jim Clarke who, as previously announced, is
leaving the Company.
Keith, 42, is currently commercial Finance Director at Tesco plc and has been at
Tesco for four years. Prior to that he was Director of Financial Operations at
T&S Stores plc, which was acquired by Tesco. Keith has a BA in Economics and
qualified as a chartered accountant with Peat Marwick McLintock (now part of
KPMG). He will commence working at JD Wetherspoon on the 9th January, 2008.
John Hutson, Chief Executive of JD Wetherspoon, said:
