WH Smith PLC announces today that the interim results announcement for the 6
months to 28 February 2002, which was scheduled for Thursday 18 April 2002,
will now be announced on Wednesday 17 April 2002 at ABN AMRO, 250 Bishopsgate,
London at 9.00am.
