EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR CHANGE
Whitbread PLC today announced that Angie Risley will be stepping down from the
Board as an executive director at the end of May 2007 following her decision to
accept the role of Group HR director at Lloyds TSB Group plc. Angie was
appointed to the Board in May 2004 having been Group Human Resources Director
since 2001. Angie has held many senior human resources roles within Whitbread,
since joining the Company in 1989.
Anthony Habgood, Whitbread's Chairman said ' We are very sorry to lose Angie but
understand her decision to take up the role with Lloyds TSB. She has played a
huge part in the transformation of Whitbread over the last three years and her
contribution to the Board will be greatly missed. We all wish Angie great
success in her new role.'
