Acquisition of Quorum Training Group
Wilmington Group plc ('Wilmington' or the 'Group'), the professional information
and training group, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Quorum Training
Limited ('Quorum').
The entire issued share capital of Quorum has been purchased for a consideration
of £1.5 million which has been satisfied in cash. The three current Quorum
directors will remain on the board of Quorum.
Quorum is a well established business providing short course training programmes
to finance departments, mainly in commerce and industry, in areas such as
taxation, accounts and finance, internal audit and business law.
The acquisition of Quorum will enhance the offering of Central Law Group, the
main provider of post qualification training within the Group, and provides
Wilmington with a strategic entry into the financial training sector.
