Wilmington Group plc announces that on 6 December 2006, Neil Smith, a PDMR,
exercised options over 45,000 ordinary shares in the company at 61.5p under the
Wilmington Group plc 1995 Unapproved Share Option Scheme and sold these shares
at a price of 242.5p. Neil Smith's resultant holding of ordinary shares remains
unchanged, being 194,237 which is 0.23% of the issued share capital.
