Management Changes in Germany

Wincanton announces a change to its German management structure.

Two existing members of the senior German team, Harry Dumser and Christian Wurst, will become Joint Managing Directors of the German operations, reporting directly into Graeme McFaull, the Group Chief Executive. Both Harry Dumser, Managing Director Solutions, and Christian Wurst, Managing Director Finance and Administration, presented their plans for the profitable development of Wincanton's German business at a recent Investor Day.

Karl Nutzinger is leaving Wincanton, having accepted a new role with DB Schenker, which he will join in January 2009. 

Graeme McFaull, Group Chief Executive, commented:

'We thank Karl for his contribution during an important transitional period for our German operations. We now have a highly-experienced team in place, and a clear strategy to deliver meaningful profit progress in Germany.
