Management update
Wise CEO, Kristo Käärmann, has announced his intention to take sabbatical leave from September 2023 until December 2023. He will be spending this time with his growing family, having recently welcomed their second son.
Wise offers all colleagues the chance to take paid sabbatical leave after every four years of service. This will be the first time Kristo has taken sabbatical.
Chief Technology Officer, Harsh Sinha, will stand in for Kristo in the interim. Harsh has led the engineering team at Wise since he joined in 2015, and also brings decades of experience building and scaling product and supporting operations at iconic companies.
