Witan Investment Trust plc ('the Company') hereby gives notification that, at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on Tuesday 1 May 2012, all the resolutions, as set out in full in the notice of meeting dated 23 March 2012, were duly passed.  Two of the resolutions were special resolutions, one of which gave authority to the Company to make market purchases of its own ordinary shares up to a maximum of 28,740,701 ordinary shares (being 14.99% of the ordinary shares in issue at 1 May 2012).
