Board Appointment
Witan Investment Trust plc announces the appointment of Mr R A Bruce as a
non-executive director of the Company with effect from 19 June 2002.
Andrew Bruce, who is 52, is Group Credit Risk Director at Barclays PLC where he
has responsibility for asset quality and credit risk across the Barclays Group.
He joined Barclays in 1993 after 20 years with J P Morgan & Co where his
experience included corporate finance and risk management responsibilities on an
international basis.
Commenting on the appointment, Lord Faringdon, the Chairman of Witan, said 'We
are delighted that Andrew Bruce has agreed to join the Board. His business
background and experience will bring a new dimension to the Board's discussions
on investment strategy.'.
