Board and Committee Changes

Geneva, 20 December 2021: Wizz Air Holdings Plc ("Wizz Air"), the fastest-growing European airline , announces that Simon Duffy, Senior Independent Director, has informed the Board that, due to other commitments, he has elected not to put himself forward for re-appointment as a non-executive Director when his current term expires on 28 January 2022.

 

Following Simon's retirement from the Board, Barry Eccleston   will succeed as Wizz Air's Senior Independent Director. Wizz Air also announces a number of additional changes to its Board Committees, details of which are outlined below.

 

Board Committee Updates

With effect from 28 January 2022, Enrique Dupuy de Lome Chavarri will step down from the Remuneration Committee and will become Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee; Charlotte Andsager will be appointed to the Nomination & Governance Committee; and Anna Gatti will be appointed to both the Remuneration Committee and the Audit & Risk Committee.

 

Following these changes, the Wizz Air Board Committees will comprise:
