SEPTEMBER 2021 TRAFFIC AND CO2 EMISSION STATISTICS
WIZZ AIR CARRIED 2,999,000 PASSENGERS

Geneva, 4 October 2021: Wizz Air Holdings Plc ("Wizz Air"), the fastest-growing European airline , today announces passenger and CO2 emission statistics for September 2021.
In September 2021, Wizz Air carried 2,999,000 passengers at a load factor of 78.4%. Wizz Air continued to grow its network and improve its customer offering as follows:
· Wizz Air announced new routes from Debrecen to Brussels -Charleroi , Belgium and Kyiv-Zhulyany, Ukraine. New routes will be operated twice a week from the middle of December 2021. In addition , Wizz Air announced the restart of three routes from Debrecen to Tel-Aviv, Moscow, and Santorini. Together with new services, Wizz Air now offers 10 routes from Hungary's second largest city .
· Wizz Air Abu Dhabi celebrated its first inaugural flight to Bahrain. The new route will strengthen connectivity within the region by providing an alternative travel option for passengers between the two Gulf countries.
· Wizz Air continuously operates amongst the lowest CO2 emissions per passenger/km amongst all competitor airlines, with 68.0 grams per passenger/km for the rolling 12 months to 30 September 2021. For the month of September, emissions in grams per passenger/km were 15.9% lower compared to same month last year, as we witness an improvement in load factors over same time.
