WOOD GROUP WINS $90MILLION, 18-YEAR GAS TURBINE MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS IN
THAILAND
Wood Group Heavy Industrial Turbines (Thailand) Ltd (WGHITT), part of the Gas
Turbine Services Division of John Wood Group PLC ('Wood Group'), has been
awarded two long-term gas turbine maintenance contracts, worth approximately $90
million over 18 years, from The Glow Group in Thailand, part of Tractebel
Electricity & Gas International, one of the business divisions of SUEZ. The
contracts are scheduled to begin in 2005, with the work spread over their 18
year duration.

represent a significant step in the development of our long-term maintenance

successful implementation of similar long-term packaged maintenance contracts in
other regions of the world. By delivering a broad spectrum of services under the
contracts, wholly aligned to the needs of the customer, Wood Group is
demonstrating its position as the leading independent aftermarket services
provider.'
The two contracts involve the provision of packaged maintenance services,
covering component repair, spare parts supply, and onsite services for 12
General Electric Frame 6B gas turbines operated at two power stations in Map Ta
Phut on Thailand's eastern seaboard.
