Result of Court Hearing

The board of Obtala Resources PLC announces that, further to the Company's announcement of 6 August 2010, the proposal to change its corporate structure by creating a new group holding company incorporated in Guernsey, Channel Islands called Obtala Resources Limited by way of a scheme of arrangement under section 895 to 899 of the Companies Act 2006 was heard by the High Court of Justice today.

The Court ordered that the terms of the Scheme, as more particularly set out in the circular sent to shareholders on 6 August 2010 be implemented, and a copy of the order has been delivered to the Registrar of Companies. Accordingly, the last day of trading of Obtala Resources PLC shares is today and the new Obtala Resources Limited shares will be admitted to trading on AIM on 17 September 2010.
