  WORKSPACE STRENGTHENS BOARD WITH APPOINTMENT OF NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


Workspace Group PLC, ('Workspace') the leading provider of flexible business
accommodation to small and medium sized enterprises in London and the South
East, has appointed Bernard Cragg as a non-executive director, with effect from
the 1 June 2003.

Tony Hales, Chairman of Workspace commented

' I am delighted that Bernard Cragg is joining the Board of this growing
company. He brings a wealth of broad experience in developing customer focused
businesses backed by strong financial rigour. His skills will complement those
already on the Board.'

Bernard Cragg, a Chartered Accountant, is currently Chairman of Datamonitor plc
and a non-executive director of Mothercare plc and Bristol & West plc. He was
previously Finance Director of Carlton Communications plc, and a non-executive
director of Arcadia plc.

There are no further details relating to the appointment of Mr Bernard Cragg
which the Company is obliged to disclose under paragraph 6.F.2 (b)-(g) of the
Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
