                  WORKSPACE STRENGTHENS BOARD WITH APPOINTMENT
                         OF NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


Workspace Group PLC, ('Workspace') the leading provider of flexible business
accommodation to small and medium sized enterprises in London and the South
East, has appointed Rupert Dickinson, Chief Executive of Grainger Trust plc, the
FTSE 250 residential property specialist, as a non-executive Director.

Rupert started his career with Richard Ellis and specialised in investment
management and development consultancy. He joined Grainger Trust plc in 1992.
After being promoted to Deputy Managing Director in 2000, he was appointed as
Chief Executive in 2002.

Grainger Trust plc focuses on investing in and managing, a large portfolio of
over 12,000 residential tenancies. It has been active in a number of major
corporate acquisitions, including the purchase of AIM-listed City North Group
plc for £63m and the £477m acquisition of BPT PLC.
