Retirement Of Chairman

At the conclusion of the Workspace Group AGM on 28^th July 2011, Chairman, Tony Hales said,

"At the conclusion of this meeting I will stand down as Chairman after nearly nine years on the Board. Workspace is an excellent company supporting the essential growth of small and medium sized enterprises - exactly the sector that the Government looks to support to deliver the growth this country needs. Workspace has an attractive portfolio of assets from which the strong management team led by Harry Platt is driving value through increasing occupancy, enhanced rents and intensification of mixed-use space - space that adds vibrancy and economic activity to any community.

"The business is performing well, and following the success of the Rights Issue has the capacity to expand from a well funded balance sheet and has its debt secured until 2015.

"I am delighted that my successor Daniel Kitchen brings experience, capability and the values that will continue to ensure the success of Workspace Group and value creation for its shareholders."
