Enterprise IG acquires Springham Anderson
and Horniak & Canny in Asia
WPPs wholly-owned operating company, Enterprise IG, the
brand and identity consultancy, has acquired 75% of the
shares of Horniak & Canny Pty Limited ('H&C') in Australia
and entered into put and call options in respect of the
outstanding 25%. Enterprise IG has also acquired Springham
Anderson Design Pte Ltd ('SA') in Singapore and the
business and assets of Springham Anderson in Perth,
Australia.
H&C, which has offices in Sydney and Melbourne. employs 42
people and had revenues of A$3.3million in the year ended 30
June 1999. SA, which will change its name to Enterprise IG,
employs 21 people and had revenues of A$1.9million in the
year ended 30 June 1999 and net assets of A$610,000 at that
date.
The expansion of the Enterprise IG network in Asia is in
line with the growth strategy seen in 1999 in Europe as it
takes the lead in meeting market demand for global corporate
and product branding consultancy services.
