APPOINTMENT OF OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Xaar plc, the Cambridge based inkjet printing technology
company, has appointed Jan Fineman as Operations Director
with effect from 18 August 1999. Mr Fineman, 39, joined Xaar
in April of this year when Xaar acquired MIT (now renamed
XaarJet AB)in Sweden, where he had been General Manager
for two years. Before joining MIT, Mr Fineman was
Vice President of Technical Operations at Biacore AB,
a division of Pharmacia.
Graham Wylie, Chief Executive of Xaar plc, welcomed the
appointment of Jan Fineman to the Xaar Board and said :
'XaarJet AB continues to perform beyond our expectations
and this is due in no small part to Jan's management skills.
We now aim to make wider use of these skills particularly
in our XaarJet printhead manufacturing business
based in Cambridge'.
