BOARD CHANGES

Xaar plc ("Xaar" or "the Group" or "the Company"), the inkjet printing technology group headquartered in Cambridge, announces two changes in the membership of its Board.

After close to 10 years with Xaar, including the last three as Finance Director, Andrew Taylor has informed the Company of his intention to pursue other interests and, therefore, will resign from the Board and the Company with effect from 31 March 2011.

The Company is pleased to announce that Alex Bevis will join the Board as Finance Director on the same date. Alex, a Chartered Accountant, joins following 10 years at CSR plc (Cambridge Silicon Radio) where he was most recently employed as Vice President of Finance.

Additionally, after more than three years as Manufacturing Director, Greg Lockett has informed the Company of his wish to resign from the Board with effect from 31 January 2011, but will continue to be employed by the Company in an operations management role.

The Company is pleased to announce that Ted Wiggans will join the Board as Operations Director on the same date. Ted, a Chartered Engineer, brings over 30 years of high technology operational management experience with companies including Philips Electronics NV, Motorola and Zetex plc.  Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer at Cambridge Semiconductor Ltd.

I am pleased to welcome both Alex and Ted to the Company and believe their appointments will strengthen the Board, providing the experience necessary to implement the next crucial phase of Xaar's expansion.'

There is no information concerning Alex Bevis or Ted Wiggans which requires disclosure under Rule LR 9.6.13 of the UK Listing Authority Listing Rules.
