KEY MILESTONE FOR PAGE-WIDE INK JET PRINTING TECHNOLOGY
Xaar plc ('Xaar'), the ink jet printing technology group based
in Cambridge, announces that Agfa-Gevaert ('Agfa') has agreed
to make its first milestone payment under the joint agreement
for the commercial development of digital printing machines
using Xaars page-wide ink jet printing technology.
Graham Wylie, Chief Executive of Xaar said :
'This payment has been triggered by the demonstration to Agfa
of our first prototype page-wide printhead. This is an
important milestone in the development programme, although
much work remains to be done by all those involved to ensure
that further milestones are also met on schedule.'
